This turned out just to be a book launch, as it was too noisy for Tom McCarthy to read from his new book. John Calder was present, the founder of the Calder Bookshop, in The Cut which Alma Books (Tom McCarthy's publisher) have just bought. See previous post on Thursday 17th May for more information on the Calder Bookshop.
