Carnegie Winner

You will all know by now that the winner of the Carnegie Award is Mal Peet's Tamar, described on the Carnegie site as "an enthralling and multi-layered novel that traces the story of two men caught up in secret operations in World War Two".
Report in The Guardian
The Lower School Library's Book & Breakfast Club shadowed the Award and also chose Tamar - before the judges did! You can read their reviews of the shortlisted books on the Carnegie website.
