Poetry with Motion

As reported in the TES of 2 December (from whom I have plagiarised the headline!), Andrew Motion has launched a website where poets recite their own work. The Poetry Archive aimes to ensure that all major English-speaking poets are recorded for posterity. The site also includes advice on teaching poetry, lesson plans, interviews, as well as recordings.

Bookbinding Exhibition

At the British Library, until 5 February, a chance to see some of the entries in the annual Bookbinding Competition. The 2005 set work was Selected Poems by John Betjeman.
